The 2 day #QFitChallenge is a weight management program that involves taking natural supplements and a meal replacement shake for 2 consecutive days. Here's how it works:
Day 1: Weigh yourself in the morning after getting up to determine your weight before going through the challenge. Then, you take 1 #eQuivalent meal replacement shake in the morning and 3 capsules of the #MetabolicBoost supplement. Take another 3 capsules of Metabolic Boost before 3pm
Day 2: Take 1 eQuivalent meal replacement shake in the morning and 3 capsules of the Metabolic Boost supplement in the am and before 3 pm

Day 3 is evaluation day. Reweigh yourself in the morning after getting up and compare your weight prior to starting the challenge. At this point, it is up to your discretion to continue the regimen or to abort it. Cost: $25. The only restriction for this challenge is to lessen your carb intake for the 2 days. Daily physical activity is recommended and if you're hungry, do eat! This challenge is not a starve to death weight management program.

We set Aug. 20th as our start date - Day 1
Weight: Maricar = 63.6 kg; Chy = 120 lbs; Marilou = 143.2 lbs; Marjorie = 116 lbs
Each of us took 1 meal replacement in the morning during breakfast. We found it was best blended in a magic bullet or a regular blender with water or almond milk. The shake does require you to use non-dairy milk to mix it with. We then took 3 capsules of the metabolic boost in the morning and another 3 capsules at lunch.
The meal replacement shakes can be very thick. We ended up drinking it gradually for the whole morning. You may certainly chug it in one shot if you prefer. Drink it at your pace.
Obviously, like any other weight management programs, food consumption must be kept in check. We tried our best to lessen our carb intake for the day. Meals were complimented differently by each of us along with the supplements.
Maricar only had the meal replacement shake with banana and cashew milk for breakfast. Followed by salad for lunch. Supper was served with chicken, 2 tbs of rice and 10 cherry tomatoes (#OMG! With this little food intake, I would have probably passed out right after breakfast!)
Chy on the other hand had 2 toast with butter for breakfast, 1 cup of steamed spinach and 2 hard boiled eggs for lunch followed by a cup of chilli for supper. She drank the meal replacement shake all day and mixed it in 8 oz of almond milk. She wasn't a big fan of the taste.
Marilou had the meal replacement shake mixed with papaya, oatmeal, cinnamon and almond milk for breakfast. Lunch was only banana and supper was an egg with spinach
I had a sunnyside egg for breakfast. Much like Chy, I also didn't like the taste of the shake. I drank it most of the morning and finished it just before lunch. I also mixed it with almond milk. Then I had 1/4 cup of rice with 3 pieces of pork from my leftover #humba. By 5:30, I was starving! and became lightheaded that I felt I was going to pass out! So I had half a piece of bread and a banana. Supper was 1 1/2 slice of shepherd's pie and half a sausage.
AUG. 21 - DAY 2
I had scrambled eggs with tomatoes for breakfast and a banana. I REALLY TRIED taking the meal replacement shake for the morning, but I just couldn't take the taste at all. I consumed 1/4 cup of it. Lunch was cheese and a slice of banana bread. Dinner was more elaborate; I had 10 pieces of tortellini mixed with pesto and 1/2 cup rice and chicken thighs.
Marilou had the same breakfast and lunch as Day 1. Supper was tuna, eggs and spinach
Chy had 2 toasts of bread for breakfast. Drank the meal replacement shake mixed with 1/2 cup blueberry and 10 oz of water all morning. Lunch was the same as Day 1 and dinner was the same. She forgot to take the metabolic boost in the afternoon on this day.
Maricar had the same breakfast and lunch as the day before. Supper was small chicken, half a cucumber and whole tomatoes. I don't know how she still functioned!
As you can see, we didn't really follow a meal plan when we took on this challenge nor did we strictly measured how much food we ate during the 2 days. BUT there is a meal plan that you can follow and a support system network of people that you can ask for advise. Hydration is also a key component when we took on this challenge. VERY IMPORTANT TO KEEP HYDRATED!
AUG. 22 - EVALUATION DAY
Below are our results
Maricar is down to 62.8 kg from 63.6 kg
Marilou is now at142.8 lbs from 143.2 lbs
I am at 114.2 lbs from 116 lbs
Chy stayed the same at 120 lbs
It was very interesting to see the different results each of us got on this day. Needlessly to say, the supplements played a BIG part on achieving the results that we wanted - to loose a lb or two. What's more amazing is the transformation of Marilou's husband on the 2 days! He also participated in the challenge #supportivehusband. He weighed 286 lbs on Day 1 and by evaluation day, he was down to 282.4 lbs! AMAZING!!!!!
