If you have read our blog, last month, we took part in the 2 Day QFit Challenge.  Our results were promising, however, we didn't really follow through a uniform meal plan and a step-by-step guide when we participated in the challenge.  Some our meal plan during the day was lacking a proper balanced meal and portion control.  

We are so excited to share with you this new 6 step guide that will help you successfully complete the 2 Day QFit Challenge with the results that you really want!  Here it is!

STEP 1 

  • Replace one meal each day with eQuivalent chocolate or vanilla shake. Every shake contains the equivalent of a complete, balanced meal-plus the additional nutrients and dietary supplements activated by our proprietary "B.E.S.T. STEP 2

  • Eliminate soda pop and sugary drinks. Do add healthy, easy snacks rich in protein and good fat such as low fat yogurt, nuts or cheese

  • Weight Loss When You Cut Soda Out. ... If you replace your daily medium Coca-Cola at McDonald's (16 oz), you reduce your annual calorie intake by 70,080 calories or about 20 pounds in a year. If you replace your daily 12-ounce can of Coke with water every day, you save 52,560 calories per year or about 15 pounds in a year.

STEP 5

  • Track your activity - number of steps or calories burned.  Most smartphones now have the Health app where you can track your daily activity in your Apple Watch or Fitbit or Android friendly watch devices.

STEP 6

  • Don't eat large meals or snacks after 7 pm. For best results, track everything you drink and eat every day. See suggested apps in Step 5. A small piece of dark chocolate or 10-12 almonds are a great snack to cut your cravings and keep you on track at night.

    • When Brigham Young University researchers had 29 young men stop eating between 7 pm, and 6 a.m. for two weeks, they lost an average of about one pound. When they were allowed to eat at night for the following two weeks, they gained 1.3 pounds back. This all came down to calories: When the guys cut out nighttime noshing, they reduced their daily intake by an average of 238 calories.

    • Another study found that many women take in nearly half of their daily calories at or after dinner. And one out of three people put away 15 percent of their calories after 11 p.m.

There you have it! Your 6 step guide to successfully complete the 2 Day QFit Challenge.  Be sure to take your before and after shots as well waist measurements.  And don't be discouraged if you don't get any results in 2 days, be consistent and follow it through for 30 days!
